Exploding CinemaSaturday 29th February 2020 Exploding Cinema presents a night of independent, international and underground short films, accompanied by their trademark psychedelic light show, raffle prizes and live music. Expect the eclectic, with filmmakers in attendance. Running hot since 1991, entirely organised by volunteers and funded by revenue from their screenings, Exploding Cinema provides an opportunity for emerging filmmakers to have their works shown to an audience in the wonderful surroundings of the Cinema Museum. All films under 20 minutes long are shown, along with Q&As with attending filmmakers, a live performance and a free raffle. Over the last twenty eight years Exploding Cinema has become a mainstay of the independent film scene, showcasing exciting new works by both emerging and established filmmakers and artists.
